This chocolate “ice cream” is dairy free, vegan, and healthy (Ice cream for breakfast anyone?). It’s easy to make, tastes deeeelish and is guaranteed to become a staple in your household.

Healthy Chocolate "Ice Cream"

Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 4 people


  • 3 Frozen Bananas
  • 1/4 Cup Plant based milk (we used coconut)
  • 1 Tbsp Maple syrup or another natural sweetener
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract


  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth. (This may require some patience). If your ice cream is too thick, slowly add in more milk until you reach the desired consistency.

  2. Add toppings and enjoy immediately.

Recipe Notes

Store any remaining ice cream (yeah right!) in the freezer in an airtight container. (It will harden significantly so we recommend blending it again with some more milk before eating.
