Coffee is a must have in our pantry. It also happens to be very beneficial for skin, so incorporating it into a scrub was a no brainer. This Coffee Sugar Scrub makes an easy inexpensive gift. It is perfect for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
The caffeine in coffee stimulates blood flow when applied to the skin. Therefore it’s effective at reducing the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks. The best part is that it leaves skin glowing. Coffee is full of antioxidants which prevents premature signs of aging. The anti inflammatory properties helps to reduce redness and heal acne scars.
Not only is it an efficient exfoliator, the smell of coffee is being researched as a potential stimulant, making this scrub perfect for a boost of energy. So next time you brew yourself a cup of joe, save those leftover grinds and treat yourself to beautiful soft luminous skin.

This Coffee Sugar Scrub can be used on all skin types and doubles as a lip scrub. We don’t recommend using on your face as coconut oil can clog facial pores (it can easily be swapped out for Sweet Almond Oil or Jojoba Oil, although the texture will differ slightly).
